MVP rescue: From vibe-coded to customer-ready.
AI tools made it possible to ship an MVP in a weekend. That works until real users arrive. Then the shortcuts show: shaky auth, open databases, payments that fail silently, and a codebase nobody can safely change.
That’s the part we fix. First we audit what you’ve built and fix what’s dangerous. Then we refactor the rest in place, without stopping your releases, and leave code that you and your AI tools can keep extending.
Teams we’ve built for
It worked in the demo. Then real users showed up.
- Anyone who opens the browser console can read another user’s data.
- Payments succeed, but sometimes the order doesn’t.
- Every new feature breaks two old ones, and the AI keeps “fixing” the same bug.
- Pages that were instant with ten users take seconds with a thousand.
- An investor or enterprise customer just asked for a security review.
- You’re scared to touch the code, so you’ve stopped shipping.
What we can help with
Pick what you need. Most projects use several of these, all delivered by the same team.
Security hardening
The holes AI tools leave most often: row-level security, auth, secrets in the client, and missing validation and rate limits.
Payments that reconcile
Idempotent webhooks, failed-payment and refund flows, and subscription states that match what Stripe actually says.
Database & performance
Indexes, query fixes, caching, and a schema with room to grow, so pages stay fast past the first thousand users.
Refactoring in place
Duplicated logic and inconsistent patterns untangled into a clear structure, one area at a time, while you keep shipping.
Tests & safety nets
Tests around the flows that make money, plus error tracking and CI checks, so the next change doesn’t break checkout.
AI-friendly foundations
Written conventions and strict types give Cursor and Claude Code the context to extend your code correctly, not creatively.
From first call to handover.
- Step 01
Audit
A fixed-fee code & security audit: every risk we find, ranked by severity and effort.
- Step 02
Stop the bleeding
Critical fixes first: security holes, exposed data, and payments that fail.
- Step 03
Stabilise & refactor
We add tests, restructure the code, and tune performance in phases while the product stays live.
- Step 04
Hand back
Documentation and conventions, so your team (and your AI tools) can carry on safely.
- A severity-ranked audit report and fix plan
- Critical security and payment issues resolved first
- A database that’s locked down and properly indexed
- Tests around the flows that matter most
- Project conventions and docs your AI tools can follow
Tools we reach for
- Next.js
- Supabase
- Firebase
- PostgreSQL
- Stripe
- Vercel
- React Native
- Founders who built the MVP themselves with AI tools
- Startups preparing for launch, a raise, or an enterprise security review
- Teams who inherited a codebase nobody fully understands
Good questions, straight answers.
Something we missed? Ask us directly. A person will answer, not a bot.
01Will you just rewrite everything?
Almost never. A rewrite is slow and expensive, and it throws away what already works. We fix in place, in order of risk, and only rebuild a part when fixing it would cost more.
02Which AI tools’ code do you work with?
All of them: Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit. The tools differ, but they fail in the same places: auth, data access, payments, and structure.
03Can we keep building with AI tools afterwards?
Yes, and we set you up to do it well. We leave written conventions, strict types, and project docs, which give your AI tools the context to extend the code correctly.
04Do we have to pause development?
No. Critical issues get fixed first and the refactor happens in phases, so your product stays live and your roadmap keeps moving.
05What does it cost?
It starts with a fixed-fee audit, which gives you a ranked fix list. We then quote the fixes as a fixed-scope project, so you know the full cost before you commit.
Often paired with
- Fixed fee
Code & security audit
A fixed-fee review of your MVP’s security, payments, data, and code. You get a ranked list of what to fix first.
- Fixed fee
Performance audit
A fixed-fee audit of why your web or React Native app feels slow. Every fix is measured and ranked by its gain.
AI features & agents
LLM features, RAG, and agents built into your product, with evals and guardrails so they hold up after launch.
