How we work

Scoped up front. Built in the open.

Every engagement runs on the same simple method: agree exactly what we’re building, build it in visible slices, and leave your team able to run it without us.

It isn’t a framework or a certification. These are habits we’ve kept because they make software better and projects calmer, for you and for us.

What we believe

Six habits, every project.

The four steps

From first message to handover.

Every project follows the same path, and you always know which step you’re on.

  1. Step 01

    Discovery

A short questionnaire and a call. We pin down what you need and write every answer down as an assumption.

    You get

    Written assumptions and open questions

  2. Step 02

    Scoped proposal

Deliverables, milestones, the price, and what’s out of scope. You see the whole picture before we start.

    You get

A fixed scope and price, with a timeline

  3. Step 03

    Phased build

We build in phases tied to payment milestones: foundation, core, then launch. Each one ends with something to see.

    You get

    Working software at every milestone

  4. Step 04

    Handover & training

We deploy to production, write the docs, and walk your team through the product so they can run it without us.

    You get

A product your team can own

How to hire us

Three ways to work with us.

Hire us to build the whole product, add our engineers to your team, or start with a fixed-fee audit. Each one begins with a written scope.

FAQ

How it works, in practice.

Something we missed? Ask us directly. A person will answer, not a bot.

  1. 01What happens if the scope changes?

We write it up as a change: what it is, what it costs, and how it moves the timeline. You decide. Nothing gets added silently, and nothing gets billed by surprise.

  2. 02How do payments work?

Each phase is tied to a payment milestone. You pay for a phase, we deliver working software for it, and we move on together.

  3. 03How will we communicate?

In a shared channel, with regular demos at every milestone and written updates in between. You’ll always know what’s done, what’s next, and what’s blocked.

  4. 04Do you use AI tools to write code?

Every day. Cursor, Claude Code, and similar tools make us faster. Each change is still reviewed and tested by an engineer who understands it, because speed is the tool and judgement is the job.

  5. 05What happens after launch?

Handover includes the production deployment, written docs, and a live walkthrough. Many clients keep us on for the next phase, which we scope like any other engagement.
